Sediment Filters
A sediment filter acts as a sieve to remove particles in the water. It cannot remove chemicals or heavy metals in solution and does not improve the taste or smell. In general, sediment filters are rated by a "micron" number. This refers to the particle size that will be trapped by the filter. The smaller the number, the finer the filter.
